My favorite spot to spend time while on campus would be The South Mall. With the Tower in the backdrop, it provides a beautiful green space for relaxation under the shade of oak trees.

I love the plaza at DEALEY CENTER FOR NEW MEDIA because I was a part of the design team, and use of native plants and trees.

I really love the Turtle Pond and the lawn leading up from Littlefield Foundation to the Main Tower. In another life, I'd be out in the field working with wildlife. I could sit and watch the turtles and squirrels all day!

My favorite outdoor spot on campus is the patio at the Gordon-White Building. It's close to Idea Lab, an art gallery housed inside the building, and it has a north-west orientation, which is a perfect place to enjoy lunch in partial sunshine and relative silence.

The small patio behind the Moffett Molecular Biology Building is a nice little oasis for sitting. There's also a great slab of rock near Patton Hall that's perfect for sunbathing. I used to lay and fall asleep there between classes.

I'm not sure I have one particular spot, I love walking around campus in general. UT's Facilities Services team does a wonderful job at making and keeping the campus beautiful. If I really had to choose, I'd say the top of the San Antonio garage has an amazing view of the Tower when it's lit up at night.
